About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking an Executive Sales professional to join their team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves utilizing sales techniques to optimize revenue, maintaining guest loyalty, and promoting brand image. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Process all room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
Enter Marriott Rewards program information using appropriate software during guest reservations.
Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
Contact relevant departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest issues.
Utilize sales techniques, including upselling, to optimize revenue while maintaining Marriott guest loyalty.
Determine and grant gifts to guests as a thank you (*, reward points, show tickets, gift certificates).
Promote brand image awareness both internally and externally.
Process requests to cancel Marriott Rewards program points.
Perform general office duties to support Sales and Marketing, including filing, emailing, transcribing information, and faxing.
Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as an example.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensure professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
Receive and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and express appreciation.
Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate protocol.
Cultivate positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
Monitor the performance of others to ensure expectations and quality standards are met.
Read and visually verify information in various formats.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the hospitality sector. The role involves direct interaction with guests and supporting sales and marketing functions.
