Jeddah Airports | مطارات جدة is seeking a Financial Compliance Specialist to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role is integral to ensuring that all financial practices within the organization adhere to a comprehensive range of financial regulations and standards.

The Role

The Financial Compliance Specialist will be responsible for upholding financial integrity by aligning Jedco's financial operations with local, national, and international financial regulations. This involves developing and maintaining robust internal control frameworks and financial policies specifically tailored for Jedco, while fostering collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve overall financial compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and stay informed on financial regulations and standards pertinent to the aviation industry, including those from bodies such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and local aviation authorities.
• Ensure compliance of airport charges and fees applied to airlines, passengers, and other stakeholders.
• Guarantee the accuracy, transparency, and consistency of charge calculations and invoicing processes.
• Facilitate financial audits for Jedco by collaborating effectively with both internal and external auditors.
• Develop and maintain internal control frameworks and financial policies specific to Jedco.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all financial compliance activities.
• Work with finance teams, Jedco management, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to address and resolve any compliance issues.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal financial policies and procedures.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to internal financial policies, identifying and addressing any violations.
• Perform other job-related responsibilities as directed by the Line Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in financial compliance or auditing.
• Certification in financial compliance or a related field is considered a plus.
