About the Role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Global Reporting and Compliance (GCR) team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and involves leading complex client engagements while contributing to the growth of the GCR practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team in providing tax services, integrating strong technical skills with practical commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge.
• Manage clients’ compliance and reporting needs.
• Establish, maintain, and strengthen internal and external relationships to ensure the highest quality of services delivered to clients.
• Oversee the day-to-day management of client engagements, monitoring progress and deliverables.
• Implement standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, and escalate issues as appropriate.
• Drive performance-improvement solutions.
• Supervise high-performing teams and foster a positive learning culture.
• Coach and counsel junior team members to support their development.
• Ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or a related essential field.
• MBA, Master's, or another related advanced degree, and/or professional qualifications (*, CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent qualification).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with strong knowledge of domestic and international tax rules, regulations, and developments, ideally within a large professional services firm or similar environment.
• A strong background in tax accounting and tax auditing, preferably within a large professional services firm or similar environment.
• A strong track record of managerial, organizational, and project management experience.
• Experience dealing with multinational clients and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• In-depth commercial, legislative, and industry knowledge.
