About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for a full-time position in Jeddah, Makkah. This role involves overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure quality standards are met across guest rooms, public areas, and the pool. The Housekeeping Supervisor will play a key role in coordinating daily activities and maintaining operational efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool to ensure adherence to quality standards after cleaning.
Manage daily housekeeping activities, including running sold room reports, verifying room status, identifying discrepant rooms, prioritizing cleaning, and updating the status of departing guest rooms.
Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk.
Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments and relay issues to the next shift.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
Ensure compliance with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures, reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, and assisting individuals with disabilities.

Physical Requirements

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
Capability to push and pull loaded housekeeping carts and other work-related machinery over various surfaces.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

2-5 years of relevant experience in housekeeping supervision.
Completion of required safety training and certifications.
Proficiency in using computers and/or point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
