About the Role

Zagzoog for Home Appliances is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to join our team in Jeddah or Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position open exclusively to Saudi nationals, requiring 0-1 years of experience in mobile application development. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of our mobile applications, ensuring high performance and a robust user experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Mobile Application Developer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing mobile applications across both Android and Flutter platforms. This includes designing and implementing user interfaces, integrating with various backend services, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the applications.

Android Development Expertise

Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Android development, demonstrating proficiency in relevant technologies and practices. Required skills include:

• Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) or Java for Android development.
• Experience building UIs with XML layouts and understanding traditional Android patterns.
• Proficiency with LiveData, ViewModel, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with dependency injection using Hilt or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, the modern Android declarative UI framework.
• Background work experience with WorkManager, Services, or Foreground Services.

Flutter and Cross-Platform Skills

The role requires practical experience with Flutter for cross-platform development. Key requirements include:

• At least 1 year of Flutter experience, working with Dart.
• Comfort with multiple state management approaches (*, Provider, Riverpod, BLoC).
• Ability to build reusable widgets and manage widget lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns, responsive design, and platform conventions.

Additional Technical Requirements

Beyond specific platform expertise, candidates should demonstrate a broad understanding of mobile development best practices and tools:

• Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling asynchronous operations.
• Hands-on experience with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, FCM, Remote Config, Crashlytics).
• Experience with WebSockets or real-time data synchronization.
• Published apps on Google Play or Apple App Store.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (*, GitHub Actions, Fastlane) and mobile app release workflows.
• Experience with performance profiling (*, Android Profiler, DevTools) and optimization.
• Familiarity with design patterns (*, MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI) in production codebases.
• Contributions to open-source mobile projects or personal portfolio apps.
