Registered Nurse

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a clinical setting. The role involves assessing patient health needs, developing and implementing care plans, and maintaining medical records, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient health assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and symptom monitoring.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and monitoring for infection.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Observe and record patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the medical team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
• Conduct purposeful rounding to ensure patient needs are met and to prevent complications.
• Adhere to strict infection control standards, including hand hygiene and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Participate in infection control surveillance and reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient items and equipment according to Fakeeh Care policies.
• Follow established protocols for emergencies (*, codes, RRT) to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuous and integrated patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
• Oversee the work of junior staff and nursing students, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Identify and address issues in patient care, contributing to solutions and improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing manager within the scope of the job.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Ability to innovate in patient care and implement evidence-based practices.
• Commitment to ongoing education and training to stay current with medical advancements.
• Respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and incorporation of patient values into care planning.

This full-time position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with potential work across Jeddah and Makkah.
