Sales Representative Modern Trade

About the Role

Ferrero is seeking a Sales Representative Modern Trade to join its team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is focused on achieving sales objectives and optimizing product presence within points of sale. The Sales Representative will manage territories and client relationships to ensure integration with headquarter business initiatives and functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve defined sales targets and explore opportunities for business growth.
• Visit Points of Sales within the designated area to verify product availability, proper placement, visible pricing, and correct placement/quantity of advertising materials.
• Take orders for the necessary quantity and assortment to ensure targeted visibility and adequate stock in Points of Sales.
• Influence sales and support clients by communicating catalogues, placement optimization strategies, and promotions.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with customer counterparts in the field.
• Communicate all activities to stores to ensure their effective implementation.
• Engage clients in Category Management discussions and improvement projects.
• Implement merchandising activities as required.

Planning and Reporting

• Report on the performance of trade field activities, accomplishment of sales conditions, agreements, and retail price trends.
• Set and monitor targets for POS Quality, Customer Quality, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Internal Collaboration

This role involves regular collaboration with the Field/Regional Manager, Category Management team, and Merchandisers to ensure coordinated efforts and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or Marketing.
• At least 2 years of experience in field sales.
• Previous experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) segment is an advantage.
• Fluency in English.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of fulfilling targets.
• Knowledge of commercial and office software (*, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driving license.
