About KUN Investment Holding

KUN Investment Holding (KIH) is a private investment holding company established in 2013, headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. KIH has diverse interests spanning healthcare, sports, wellness, hospitality, real estate, and logistics. The company operates with a lean corporate structure where technology is considered a secure, reliable enabler of business operations, not a back-office function.

The Opportunity

KUN Investment Holding is seeking a Senior Information Technology Manager to lead its IT function end-to-end. This full-time role, based in Jeddah or Makkah, Saudi Arabia, reports to the Chief Administrative Officer. The manager will own the technology agenda across the holding, focusing on maturing IT from reactive support into a well-governed platform, protecting a high-confidentiality environment, and driving the digitization of core workflows. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a deep understanding of systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the IT roadmap in alignment with business priorities and budget.
  • Establish IT policies, standards, and service levels, and present technology investment cases and policy recommendations to executive management.
  • Oversee the availability, performance, and lifecycle of all IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud and on-premise platforms, and end-user computing.
  • Manage enterprise platforms such as Microsoft 365 and the HRIS (MenaITech), leading implementations, upgrades, and integrations with minimal business disruption.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements are defined, tested, and current.
  • Lead the cybersecurity posture, encompassing access control, identity management, threat protection, and incident response.
  • Establish data governance and information protection practices across systems and information assets, enforcing security standards across users, vendors, and systems with appropriate authority.
  • Manage IT vendors, telecom providers, and security partners, including contract negotiation and holding suppliers to service level agreements.
  • Own IT licensing, asset management, and the IT budget with full cost accountability.
  • Identify and deliver automation solutions for manual workflows across corporate functions.
  • Lead, develop, and set standards for the IT team, fostering a service-oriented support culture.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Discretion and trustworthiness in a high-confidentiality environment.
  • Accountability for outcomes, not merely tasks.
  • Sound judgment when faced with ambiguity.
  • Proven leadership ability to develop and mentor team members.
  • A service mindset towards the business functions enabled by IT.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in information technology leadership and management roles.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah or Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
