About APICO and the Role

APICO – Arabian Plastic Industrial Co. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Mold Maintenance professional to join our team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, within the Makkah region, and is crucial for maintaining the operational efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Role Purpose

The Senior Mold Maintenance professional will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of molds through comprehensive repair, preventive, and breakdown maintenance. This role involves hands-on technical work and adherence to safety standards to support continuous production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mold repair, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance procedures.
• Dismantle and assemble molds accurately for maintenance and repair operations.
• Execute precision tasks including turning, surface grinding, drilling, and manual machining.
• Conduct repair and maintenance for Hot Runner molds.
• Carry out mold polishing as required during production cycles.
• Identify and report any abnormal conditions observed in molds.
• Maintain machinery in strict accordance with established safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma in Mold Making or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mold repair and maintenance.
• Demonstrated strong hands-on experience in mold maintenance and machining.
• Proven experience in Hot Runner mold repair.
• An Associate degree in Mold Making Technology or a Tool Room Machine-related field is preferred.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Experience with CNC Vertical Machining Center is considered an added advantage.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, serving the Makkah region.
