Role Overview

The Saudi National Bank (SNB) is seeking a Senior Officer Technology Asset Management to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring their efficient management, compliance, and optimization. The role requires alignment with SNB’s strategic objectives and adherence to regulatory requirements for hardware, software, and related IT resources.

IT Asset Lifecycle Management

This role involves comprehensive management of IT assets throughout their entire lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, procuring, deploying, maintaining, transferring, and disposing of IT assets in accordance with SNB’s established policies and procedures.
• Ensuring the seamless integration of IT assets across all business units and departments within the bank.
• Supporting technology refresh, upgrade, and decommissioning activities to ensure alignment with business needs and the overall IT strategy.

Inventory, Compliance, and Governance

The Senior Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate asset records and ensuring adherence to all relevant standards and regulations. This includes:

• Maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and related components.
• Conducting regular asset reviews, reconciliations, and audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
• Ensuring all IT asset management activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Supporting compliance with software license agreements and preparing for audit readiness.
• Supporting IT governance, risk, audit, and compliance initiatives specifically related to asset management.
• Ensuring asset documentation, naming standards, and records are meticulously maintained throughout the asset lifecycle.

Optimization, Reporting, and Stakeholder Coordination

A key aspect of this role involves optimizing asset utilization, providing insightful reporting, and fostering effective collaboration across departments. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring asset utilization to identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and resource optimization.
• Providing insights and recommendations to enhance asset performance and improve lifecycle management strategies.
• Collaborating with IT, Procurement, Finance, and other relevant stakeholders to manage asset acquisition, tracking, and reporting.
• Serving as a primary point of contact for asset-related queries and issues.
• Preparing detailed asset management reports, dashboards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management review and informed decision-making.
• Tracking and reporting on asset performance, compliance status, and lifecycle metrics.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Senior Officer position should possess a strong background in technology asset management. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required, demonstrating a proven ability to manage complex IT asset lifecycles and ensure regulatory compliance within a large organizational setting.
