The Senior Product Designer Role

ALEA is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves leading end-to-end product design initiatives from discovery through delivery. The role focuses on working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business goals and customer needs into effective digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design initiatives, from initial discovery to final delivery.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand business goals and customer needs.
• Outline problems and opportunities, translating solutions into clear user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity production-ready interfaces.
• Create and iterate on designs, validate and defend design concepts.
• Provide clear documentation for implementation and ensure the delivery of high-quality user experiences.

Required Qualifications

• Strong product design capabilities, with demonstrated experience delivering end-to-end solutions in digital products.
• Practical experience in UX Research, including gathering insights and translating them into actionable design decisions.
• Proficiency in UI Design, capable of creating clear, accessible, and aesthetically cohesive interfaces aligned with brand and design systems.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicating design rationale clearly to product and engineering.
• Fluent in Figma and familiar with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience designing for web and mobile platforms, with an understanding of responsive design, accessibility principles, and basic platform constraints.
• A portfolio demonstrating the above requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or complex transactional product design.
• Experience working effectively within remote teams.
