Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role

Johnson Controls Arabia is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves managing day-to-day talent acquisition efforts for complex positions across various functions within an assigned area. The specialist will work closely with hiring managers to validate position requirements and provide consultative feedback on external labor market conditions, candidate needs, and sourcing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and achieve daily operational objectives related to talent acquisition.
• Explain facts, practices, and policies to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Correct or resolve issues and problems within existing recruitment systems and processes, implementing minor changes as needed.
• Adapt or enhance existing recruitment methods to improve quality and value as part of daily activities.
• Address problems and issues that typically fall within a single job area or discipline, where the scope of the problem is well-defined.
• Apply broad theory and principles within the talent acquisition discipline, utilizing advanced technical and operational practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• A university degree with 0-1 year of suggested minimum experience, or a two-year degree with 6 years of suggested minimum experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Knowledge

• Ability to provide consultative feedback and direction on external labor market conditions and candidate needs.
• Proficiency in sourcing and candidate selection strategies.
• Capacity to influence internal and external parties to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
• Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline, integrating theory and principles with organizational practices.

Work Environment

This is an individual contributor role based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with no direct responsibility for leading others. The application of knowledge is focused domestically within the country or neighboring countries with similar cultural contexts.
