The Opportunity

Almarai is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance function within a large-scale Poultry Processing Plant in Hail. This full-time role involves ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of processing equipment, while also leading maintenance strategies, engineering projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all engineering and maintenance activities for poultry processing equipment and production lines.
• Ensure high equipment availability and minimize production downtime through effective maintenance strategies.
• Develop and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Drive equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead engineering projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and commissioning activities.
• Identify recurring equipment failures and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage engineering budgets, spare parts, contractors, and maintenance resources.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Quality standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineering and maintenance teams.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to support plant performance and production targets.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in an engineering leadership role, preferably within a large-scale processing plant environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop engineering and maintenance teams.
• Strong understanding of maintenance strategies, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing engineering projects, budgets, and resources.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Quality standards relevant to food processing.
