About the Role

Jazeera Paints is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team in Khamis Mushayt. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining the high-quality standards of our products by performing comprehensive tests on raw materials, finished goods, and packing materials. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Core Testing and Analysis

• Perform all necessary tests on incoming raw materials, in-process samples, finished goods, and packing materials.
• Conduct specialized testing for SASO (Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization) products and manage sample arrangements for monthly reports.
• Execute stability testing for returned finished goods and conduct sample analysis for various internal company departments.

Quality Assurance and Documentation

• Perform internal calibration for specified machines, tools, and equipment used within the QC laboratory to ensure accuracy.
• Finalize daily test reports for final products, authorize batch tickets, and promptly report results to the production department.
• Arrange and organize retain samples, ensuring their constant compliance with retention policies.
• Document all laboratory activities thoroughly and submit regular reports as required.
• Ensure that any changes or modifications in batch tickets are properly signed off as per the nature of the case.

Operational Efficiency and Compliance

• Participate in cost reduction activities, including efficient use of electricity, water, improvised materials, leftover samples, and packing materials.
• Comply with all established rules and safety instructions for working within laboratories.
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the workplace and ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all devices and equipment used in laboratories.
• Execute all activities related to the function using safe and environmentally responsible methods.

General Duties

The Technician will also be responsible for performing any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor or manager, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality objectives of the department.
