QA Technician

About the Role

Almarai is seeking a QA Technician to join their team in Makkah, specifically in Rabigh or Makkah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on coordinating quality aspects within poultry operations.

Role Overview

The QA Technician will coordinate all quality-related aspects within Poultry Operations. This role involves assisting the Quality team at the plant to effectively manage all facets of quality under the guidance of the SQAM / DQAM (Poultry).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all quality aspects within Poultry Operations.
• Assist the Quality team in the plant to manage all aspects of quality effectively.
• Work under the guidance of the SQAM / DQAM (Poultry) to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences or other related disciplines.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant (preferably protein).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant.
• Experience in a Quality role within a Poultry Processing Plant.
• Experience at a supervisory level.

Required Skills

• Good working knowledge of Quality standards, systems, and audits.
• Good operational knowledge of Meat Processing & Animal Health.
• Good operational knowledge of Quality Systems and audits.
