The Role of Senior Production Manager

Almarai is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead and manage end-to-end seafood production operations. This full-time position is based in King Abdullah Economic City and Rabigh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role encompasses oversight of Shrimp, Salmon, and Multi-Purpose processing lines, with a focus on ensuring production efficiency, product quality, food safety compliance, yield optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across all seafood processing and packing lines.
• Ensure strict compliance with HACCP, SFDA regulations, ISO standards, and all food safety requirements.
• Drive production efficiency, maximize yield, and minimize waste and processing losses.
• Manage manpower, equipment, and resources effectively to achieve established production targets.
• Monitor all seafood processing activities, including filleting, trimming, grading, portioning, glazing, freezing, and packaging.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational excellence and product consistency.
• Lead, coach, and develop production teams to improve overall performance and technical capability.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and HSE teams to ensure smooth and integrated operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across all manufacturing processes.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Senior Production Manager position must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant production management role, ideally within the food and beverage or seafood processing industry.
