The Role of Senior Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Senior Testing & Commissioning (T&C) Engineer to join its team in Duba. This full-time role involves performing routine testing and commissioning duties for water infrastructure systems and facilities. The engineer will apply comprehensive knowledge and professional judgment to ensure water systems meet specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing and commissioning duties for water infrastructure systems and facilities under general supervision.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to meet water system specifications and construction requirements.
• Apply sound professional judgment to technical details concerning water treatment, distribution, and related hydraulic system work.
• Independently conduct walk-downs and inspections of installed water infrastructure commodities, equipment, and systems to ensure conformance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
• Perform quantity surveys and material tracking for water system components and report findings to project management.
• Provide technical direction and guidance to junior technicians, drafters, and field personnel on water infrastructure testing protocols and commissioning procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams to verify system performance, water quality parameters, and operational readiness prior to facility handover.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in testing and commissioning water infrastructure systems.
• Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge and abilities in applying engineering techniques and procedures to water system projects.
• Proficiency in evaluating and applying engineering criteria to meet construction and system specifications.
