Finance Manager

About the Role

Mastermind & Associates is seeking a Finance Manager for a client in the Saudi manufacturing business, operating within the fashion and apparel sector in ‘Unayzah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for leading and strengthening the finance function during a period of growth and operational transformation. The company is currently enhancing its financial controls, management reporting, manufacturing costing, governance, and ERP-enabled processes.

Role Purpose

The Finance Manager will take ownership of the finance function, working closely with senior management. The primary objective is to improve financial visibility, reporting discipline, controls, costing, cash management, and decision support within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly closing processes and management reporting.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial performance analyses.
• Strengthen financial controls, accounting processes, and finance policies.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking operations, reconciliations, and working capital management.
• Improve manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, Work-In-Process (WIP) control, overhead allocation, and margin analysis.
• Support the successful financial implementation and ongoing utilization of Odoo ERP.
• Ensure the integrity of financial data, chart of accounts, inventory transactions, costing structures, and management reports within the ERP system.
• Develop reporting on profitability segmented by customer, product, order, and business activity.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure audit readiness.
• Build stronger finance procedures and enhance the capability of the existing finance team.
• Provide management with timely financial analysis and recommendations.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or a comparable leadership role.
• Strong manufacturing finance experience is highly preferred.
• Practical experience in product costing, inventory accounting, WIP, Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and production-related financial controls.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Experience working with ERP systems; Odoo experience is an advantage.
• Experience supporting ERP implementation or finance transformation initiatives is preferred.
• Strong analytical and management reporting capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate closely with senior management and translate financial information into clear business decisions.
• A professional accounting qualification such as SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage.
