Accountant

About the Role

Hummus Refi is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the restaurant or Food & Beverage industry, and proficiency in Odoo.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and record all financial transactions.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and account settlements regularly.
• Manage monthly and annual financial closing processes.
• Monitor bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze budgets, tracking variances as needed.
• Generate comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and supplier management.
• Prepare and analyze food cost reports.
• Handle VAT reconciliation and filing.
• Coordinate effectively with external auditors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience is required.
• Prior experience in the restaurant or Food & Beverage industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in using Odoo accounting software.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from 4,000 to 5,500 SAR per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, within the Hummus Refi team.
