Agent Reservation Sales

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an Agent-Reservation Sales to join their team in Makkah. This full-time position is responsible for managing all aspects of guest reservations, including processing requests, changes, and cancellations received through various communication channels. The role involves identifying guest needs, determining appropriate room types, and ensuring the availability of rooms and rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs, determine appropriate room types, and verify availability of room types and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests from guests.
• Answer questions regarding property facilities/services and room accommodations.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Communicate information concerning designated VIP reservations.
• Input and access data within the reservation system.
• Address challenges in accommodating rooming requests by communicating with relevant individuals or departments.
• Oversee the accuracy of room blocks and reservations.
• Input group rooming lists using reservation systems, revise room blocks to maintain required room availability, and maintain organized group files.
• Set up proper billing accounts in accordance with Accounting policies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
