Arabian Metal Industries is seeking a dedicated Brake Technician to join its full-time team. This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and plays a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our operations and product integrity.

Role Summary

The Brake Technician is responsible for the comprehensive installation, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of trailer braking systems. A primary focus of this role is to ensure that all brake components are fitted precisely according to technical drawings, manufacturer specifications, and established safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and assemble complete trailer brake systems, including air brake chambers, brake valves, ABS/EBS systems, air lines and fittings, brake pipes and hoses, and slack adjusters with related components.
• Perform brake system installations strictly according to technical drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct thorough air leakage tests and comprehensive brake performance tests.
• Adjust and calibrate brake systems to ensure proper operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot brake system faults, rectifying issues prior to Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
• Inspect brake components for correct installation, routing, and connections.
• Coordinate effectively with the Quality Control (QC) team during inspection and testing processes.

Technical Execution and Quality Assurance

This role requires precise execution of installations based on technical drawings and manufacturer specifications. The technician will conduct critical air leakage and performance tests, and adjust and calibrate systems for optimal functionality. A key aspect of the role involves troubleshooting and rectifying faults before PDI, and collaborating with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure all installations meet stringent quality and safety standards.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a related technical field.
