About Rawafid Industrial and the Role

Rawafid Industrial is seeking an experienced Concrete Structure Design Manager to lead and support structural engineering activities. This full-time role focuses on water, wastewater, and industrial projects within the Makkah region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. The Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive structural designs, calculations, specifications, and related documentation, ensuring adherence to engineering codes, client requirements, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support structural engineering activities for water, wastewater, and industrial projects.
• Manage structural engineering tasks and coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, contributing to effective project planning and delivery.
• Support project execution and business development activities through effective technical communication and coordination.

Design and Documentation Tasks

• Prepare detailed structural design calculations based on field data, sound engineering assumptions, applicable codes, and standards for a variety of structures, including concrete and steel water tanks, steel structures, and other concrete structures.
• Develop water and wastewater network designs using appropriate engineering software.
• Prepare and review detailed structural design reports in accordance with company standards and client requirements.
• Prepare priced and unpriced Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed project cost estimates.
• Develop project structural specifications and technical documentation.
• Create, review, and coordinate engineering drawings and specifications, guiding draftsmen and BIM/modeling teams in producing required tender and design drawings.
• Perform structural calculations, simulations, load assessments, and capacity checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of designs.
• Carry out civil load/capacity calculations and support the selection and design of appropriate equipment and materials.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Review designs to ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) for engineering deliverables and project work.
• Conduct site visits and coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams as required.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in concrete structure design and structural engineering activities, particularly within water, wastewater, and industrial projects.

Location and Employment Details

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering projects in Jeddah and Makkah. The salary for this role will be discussed during the interview process.
