About the Content Writer Executive Role

This full-time position at Augustus Media is for a Content Writer Executive based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play an important role in establishing Lovin Jeddah’s local voice and presence. The role involves researching, writing, editing, presenting, and supporting the production of bilingual content across lifestyle and city-focused beats, ideal for a storyteller who understands the pace of digital publishing.

Core Responsibilities

• Research, write, edit, and proofread engaging content for Lovin Cities across digital and social platforms.
• Develop relevant story ideas and content opportunities across lifestyle, culture, and city-focused beats.
• Create bilingual content in Arabic and English, tailored to platform, audience, and format.
• Present and appear in content where required, bringing energy, credibility, and personality on camera.
• Support video-led storytelling through content creation, filming, and basic videography.

Editorial Planning and Collaboration

• Assist with editorial planning and daily content scheduling.
• Prepare and maintain the monthly content calendar.
• Attend weekly meetings and contribute to editorial planning and content discussions.
• Work closely with freelancers, videographers, writers, and content creators as the local operation develops.
• Help build Lovin Jeddah’s voice, relevance, and audience engagement within the local market.

Candidate Profile and Experience

This role requires 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field. The ideal candidate will contribute to a collaborative, high-performance culture by bringing a positive, proactive, and eager-to-learn attitude. The ability to work with a line manager to develop SMART performance objectives is expected.
