About the Role

Panda Retail Company – Savola Group is seeking a Data Center Specialist to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is essential for operating and supporting the data center infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and optimal performance of both physical and virtual environments that underpin the company's digital and business operations.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to maintain the critical infrastructure that supports Panda Retail Company's operations. The specialist will ensure continuous system availability and a secure operating environment for all data center assets, contributing directly to the reliability and efficiency of business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate data center facilities, servers, storage, and network equipment to ensure continuous system availability.
• Monitor data center environmental conditions, including power, cooling, and alarms, to maintain safe operating environments.
• Perform installation, configuration, and replacement of data center hardware to support infrastructure reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and hardware failures to restore services and minimize downtime.
• Execute approved maintenance activities, upgrades, and patches to maintain performance and security standards.
• Apply access control, safety, and security procedures within data center facilities to protect assets and data.
• Document infrastructure configurations, changes, and incidents to maintain accurate operational records.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams during maintenance and incidents to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support capacity monitoring and infrastructure improvement initiatives by providing operational insights and recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in data center operations or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain data center infrastructure.
• Proficiency in monitoring environmental conditions and ensuring system availability.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a dynamic environment to support critical business infrastructure.
