Internal Audit Supervisor

About the Role

Habib Trading Company is seeking an experienced Internal Audit Supervisor to join its team in Makkah or Jeddah. This full-time role is central to enhancing the organization's governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks. The successful candidate will lead internal audit assignments and provide independent assurance to management.

Role Overview

The Internal Audit Supervisor will be responsible for leading the execution of risk-based internal audit assignments. This position involves partnering with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for operational improvement and risk mitigation, ensuring robust internal processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of annual risk-based internal audit plans.
• Lead audit engagements from the planning phase through to reporting.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Prepare and present audit reports, findings, and recommendations to management.
• Ensure that working paper documentation complies with established standards and methodologies.
• Follow up on management action plans to ensure timely implementation and closure.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and external auditors.
• Conduct special reviews, investigations, and advisory assignments as required.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in internal audit or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audit engagements and manage audit teams.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in either Jeddah or Makkah. The role involves working within a professional environment focused on maintaining high standards of internal control and operational efficiency.
