About Amazon and the OTR Supervisor Role

Amazon strives to be Earth's most customer-centric company. We are seeking a dedicated OTR Supervisor to join our Delivery Stations in Makkah. This full-time position is crucial for managing last-mile delivery operations, ensuring packages reach customers safely, on time, and with the highest quality standards.

Role Purpose and Context

The OTR Supervisor will lead and manage Delivery Associates and the overall last-mile delivery process. This role involves contributing to the future of customer service by upholding Amazon's standards, driving performance metrics, and continuously improving operational efficiency within the delivery network.

Leadership and Performance Responsibilities

• Safeguard team safety and promote Amazon's Health and Safety standards.
• Lead and manage Delivery Associates and last-mile delivery operations.
• Monitor and drive On-The-Road performance metrics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Delivery Success Rates, and other relevant indicators.
• Uphold Amazon's high standards of delivery quality and customer experience.
• Solve real-time routing, dispatch, and delivery challenges to ensure on-time performance.
• Strive to improve and streamline OTR processes and reduce delivery defects.
• Actively share and promote best practices with colleagues and across the network.

Daily Operational Duties

• Conduct daily follow-ups with vendors regarding the onboarding process.
• Facilitate the onboarding process with external contractors.
• Manage incentive programs for delivery associates.
• Perform uniform auditing and inventory management.
• Handle daily operational communications with Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Points of Contact (POCs) and escalate issues to owners when necessary.
• Address Delivery Station (DS) callouts on day-to-day topics related to DSP Delivery Associates.
• Arrange and follow up on DAY0 attendance for new associates.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within Amazon's Delivery Stations, focusing on the dynamic environment of last-mile logistics and team management.
