About Amazon and the OTR Supervisor Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a full-time OTR Supervisor to join its operations in Dammam. This role contributes directly to the efficiency and quality of delivery operations within Amazon's dynamic Delivery Stations.

Role Purpose and Operational Focus

The OTR Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing outbound transportation processes, ensuring operational excellence and compliance with Amazon's high standards. This position involves leading teams, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement to enhance the overall customer delivery experience. The supervisor will be integral to maintaining process quality and inventory accuracy within the delivery network.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and ensure adherence to Amazon’s Health and Safety standards for the team.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Uphold Amazon’s process quality standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Identify and implement improvements to streamline processes.
• Share and promote best practices across teams and the network.
• Manage OTR metrics by overseeing on-ground processes and ensuring compliance.
• Conduct station vehicle safety audits.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for external contractors.
• Analyze OTR metric challenges and collaborate with DSPs and stakeholders to provide solutions.
• Manage incentive programs.
• Conduct uniform auditing and manage inventory.
• Handle daily operational communications with DSP Points of Contact (POCs) and escalate issues to owners as required.
• Address Delivery Station (DS) callouts related to DSP Delivery Associates (DAs).
• Arrange and follow up on DAY0 attendance.
• Work to enhance the experience for DSPs and DAs.
• Streamline feedback from DSPs to improve processes and develop solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, with availability for overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data analytics, data warehouse reporting, and query design.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems (*, SAP, Oracle, Workday), or experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Flexibility to work various schedules, shifts, and work areas, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Capability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Frequent pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching are required.
