About the Senior Specialist Business Continuity Role

Saudi Airlines is seeking a Senior Specialist Business Continuity to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to strengthening the corporation's resilience by providing expert analysis and support in risk management and business continuity planning. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Purpose of the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to conduct supportive statistical analysis for quantifying and analyzing risks that could affect the corporation. The Senior Specialist will also play a key role in assisting colleagues by sharing previous knowledge and experience, thereby contributing to a robust and informed risk management framework across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and controlled work execution.
Implement day-to-day operations within the assigned work area, maintaining compliance with established standards and procedures.
Review risk management results with concerned departments and assist in evaluating the viability of barriers through key risk indicators and their alignment with organizational strategy.
Support superiors in coordinating with Saudia Holding and SNUs to meet governance regulatory requirements.
Review compliance reports, understand their relevance to emerging risks, and suggest necessary enhancements.
Communicate all results and findings to superiors, providing solutions when required.
Document and ensure effective communication of key risks across the organization.
Analyze areas of potential risk to corporate assets and recommend strategies to control or reduce these risks.
Assist in the development or implementation of risk assessment models or methodologies.
Conduct statistical analyses to quantify risk, utilizing statistical analysis software or econometrics.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls within the department, safeguarding employee safety, legislative compliance, high-quality service delivery, and responsible environmental practices.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Senior Specialist Business Continuity position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in risk management, business continuity, or a related analytical field.
