About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage to oversee assigned food and beverage/culinary operations in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and achieving financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a property environment that promotes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a strong commitment to service.
• Provide excellent customer service to all employees and respond proactively to their concerns.
• Utilize coaching skills across the property to develop staff.
• Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm in daily operations.
• Motivate and encourage staff to effectively resolve guest and employee-related issues.

Ensuring Guest Satisfaction

• Deliver excellent customer service to all guests.
• Respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
• Understand and uphold the brand's service culture.
• Set clear service expectations for both internal and external guests.
• Take ownership of guest complaints or problems until resolution or appropriate escalation.
• Follow up to ensure that complaints have been addressed to the guest's satisfaction.
• Develop relationships with guests to foster repeat clientele.

Additional Duties

• Comply with all corporate accounting procedures.
• Assist the General Manager as needed with the annual Quality audit.
