About the Clerk Reservations Role

Marriott International is seeking a Clerk Reservations for a full-time position in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for processing guest reservation requests, changes, and cancellations, ensuring accurate and efficient service. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Key Reservation Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Clerk Reservations include managing all aspects of guest bookings and inquiries:

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room types.
• Verify the availability of room types and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and document special requests.
• Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations.
• Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Input and access data in the reservation system.
• Indicate special room reservation types (*, complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system.
• Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: No specific related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None.

Physical Requirements

The role involves certain physical demands:

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.

This full-time position is based in Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The Clerk Reservations will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
