About the Role

Umrahbookings is seeking a Contracting Director to lead its hotel contracting strategy and expand its network. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and reports directly to the CEO. The role involves building and leading a high-performing Contracting Department to support the company's growth as a leading B2B hotel booking platform for Umrah travel.

Role Context and Purpose

The Contracting Director will be responsible for developing and executing Umrahbookings' hotel contracting strategy. This includes leading the Contracting Department, managing a team of Contracting Managers and Executives, and fostering strategic partnerships with hotels across Saudi Arabia. The position requires a commercially driven leader focused on scaling contracting operations and securing exclusive commercial agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company's hotel contracting strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the CEO to define expansion plans and supplier acquisition strategies.
• Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with hotel owners, operators, and key decision-makers.
• Negotiate exclusive commercial agreements and competitive hotel rates.
• Expand Umrahbookings' hotel portfolio across Makkah, Madinah, and other strategic destinations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Contracting Managers and Executives, including performance reviews and coaching.
• Create efficient contracting processes and operational standards.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.
• Analyze supplier performance, identify growth opportunities, and present commercial reports to the CEO.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to align contracting activities.
• Ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hotel partners.

• Over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Extensive hospitality experience.
• Exceptional negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to build and scale contracting operations.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and leadership capabilities.
