About Kitopi

Kitopi is a company focused on creating and curating food experiences, building homegrown brands for the region. Established in January 2018, Kitopi has expanded its operations across the Middle East, managing over 200 outlets that include both dine-in and delivery-only locations. The company operates in five markets: UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, offering various culinary concepts. Kitopi utilizes a proprietary smart kitchen operating system (SKOS) to enhance speed, efficiency, and quality in its operations.

Role Summary

The Executive Chef is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah. This role is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring consistent, high-quality food production across assigned outlets. The Executive Chef will manage kitchen teams and contribute to menu development and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead kitchen operations and ensure consistent, high-quality food production.
Oversee menu execution, recipe standardization, and plating standards.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Manage and mentor kitchen teams, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the kitchen.
Manage inventory and cost control, coordinating with procurement.
Monitor kitchen efficiency and collaborate with operations and brand teams on new menus and promotions.
Analyze customer feedback and review SKOS data to optimize processes.
Drive innovation in dishes and workflows to enhance guest experience and brand performance.

Qualifications and Experience

5-10 years of experience in a relevant culinary role.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage kitchen operations.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jeddah. The Executive Chef will work within a dynamic environment focused on culinary innovation and operational efficiency.
