About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking an experienced F&B Service Manager to join our team in Makkah or Jeddah. This full-time position is central to overseeing all food and beverage operations, encompassing culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service. The role is critical in ensuring high levels of guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining operational standards, and achieving financial objectives. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in the field.

Operational Leadership and Management

The F&B Service Manager provides comprehensive oversight for all daily food and beverage operations. This includes managing departments, supervising employees, and ensuring adherence to operational standards and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities involve:

• Managing all Food and Beverage departments, excluding catering sales.
• Overseeing all culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service operations.
• Demonstrating knowledge and proficiency of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations.
• Developing and implementing business plans for food and beverage services.
• Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose optimal solutions and solve problems.

Financial Oversight and Budget Management

A critical aspect of this role is the effective management of financial resources and strategic planning to meet business objectives. The manager will:

• Develops and manages all financial plans for Food and Beverage departments.
• Maintains a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations.
• Utilizes budgets to understand and achieve financial objectives.
• Complies with all corporate accounting procedures.

Team Leadership and Human Resources

The F&B Service Manager is responsible for fostering a productive and positive work environment, leading the team by example, and managing human resource activities. This includes:

• Supervising and managing employees, overseeing all day-to-day operations.
• Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage team members.
• Creating an environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Providing proactive coaching, counseling, and guidance to subordinates.
• Conducting timely performance reviews and identifying developmental needs.
• Developing and implementing action plans based on employee engagement and guest satisfaction results.

Ensuring Service Excellence and Satisfaction

A primary focus of this role is to deliver and maintain high standards of service for both guests and employees. The manager will:

• Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns.
• Understand and drive alignment with the brand's service culture among all employees, team leaders, and managers.
• Take ownership of guest complaints/problems until resolved or addressed by appropriate personnel.
• Verify all banquet functions meet standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees and respond proactively to their concerns.
