Hilton is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Equipment Technician to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for maintaining the operational excellence of commercial kitchen facilities within our properties, ensuring all equipment functions safely, efficiently, and reliably.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Kitchen Equipment Technician is responsible for the comprehensive maintenance of all commercial kitchen equipment. This involves a proactive approach to preventive and corrective maintenance, expert troubleshooting of equipment faults, and timely repairs to minimize downtime and support seamless kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, gas, and refrigeration-related kitchen equipment.
• Install, test, and commission new kitchen equipment.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential faults and safety issues.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and spare parts used.
• Follow all health, safety, and equipment manufacturer guidelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen, engineering, and maintenance teams when required.
• Ensure tools, spare parts, and equipment are properly maintained and organized.
• Support emergency repairs and maintenance requirements as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia.
• Mandatory previous experience working in hotels.
• Proven experience of 5-10 years as a Kitchen Equipment Technician or in a similar technical role.

Work Environment and Expectations

This full-time position requires a willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, and weekends, and to respond to emergency breakdowns as needed to ensure continuous operation of kitchen facilities. The successful candidate will operate within a dynamic hotel environment, collaborating with various internal teams to maintain high operational standards.
