About the Role

Saudi Railway Company is seeking an experienced MMMP Station Master to join their team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves leading station operations to ensure safe, reliable, and customer-focused services. The Station Master will be responsible for overseeing station activities, managing a team, and responding to emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of Station Agents, setting an example for safe, reliable, and customer-focused station services.
Ensure effective and timely internal and external communications and information dissemination.
Deliver public announcements and verify the accuracy, clarity, and timeliness of all train and station information.
Manage the efficient and safe evacuation of station premises during emergencies such as fires.
Act as the Incident Officer for serious accidents and incidents within stations, conducting investigations as required.
Monitor and maintain the operational status of the station, ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
Execute controlled, uncontrolled, and emergency passenger evacuations.
Conduct comprehensive checks of all station equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
Ensure all staff are professionally presented and fully briefed before each shift.
Perform local train control within the interlocking area during emergencies.
Control and prevent overcrowding on stations and platforms, ensuring orderly passenger movement.
Deliver essential messages to passengers via audio or visual means proactively to prevent confusion or frustration.
Provide assistance to customers, especially those with special needs, to enhance service and safety.
Perform shift and emergency duties as needed.
Carry out other duties as instructed by the Station Section Head and Operations Director.

Safety and Operational Compliance

Evaluate safety issues related to station operations and associated activities.
Advise on and enforce safe working methods for all station operations.
Adhere to safe working procedures personally, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and ensure the safety of others.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing operational teams.
Strong understanding of railway station operations and safety protocols.

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, within the dynamic environment of the Saudi Railway Company. The role involves working in a fast-paced operational setting, requiring adaptability and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
