About CoorB and the Role

CoorB is seeking a Mobile Engineer to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on the development, testing, and maintenance of mobile applications. The role requires 1-3 years of experience in mobile application development.

Role Overview

The Mobile Engineer will contribute to building high-quality Android and/or iOS applications. This position requires a solid understanding of mobile application architecture and a commitment to delivering intuitive and scalable mobile solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in adherence to industry best practices.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development standards.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, security, and user experience.
• Support application deployment processes for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Stay informed on the latest mobile development frameworks, tools, and technologies.
• Contribute to application documentation and technical design discussions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in mobile application development.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture).
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON-based services.
• Familiarity with Git and standard version control workflows.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and responsive layouts.
• Experience debugging and optimizing mobile applications.
• Understanding of secure mobile application development practices.
• Familiarity with local storage solutions such as SQLite, Room, Core Data, or Shared Preferences.

Technical Proficiencies

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in one or more of the following mobile development technologies:

• Android development using Kotlin or Java.
• iOS development using Swift.
• Cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
