Magrabi Health is seeking an Ophthalmology Consultant (Pediatric) to join their team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This part-time role focuses on providing specialized ophthalmic care to pediatric patients.

Role Overview

The Ophthalmology Consultant (Pediatric) is responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions within the field of pediatric ophthalmology. This role involves delivering comprehensive medical care in accordance with established medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and Magrabi Health's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and management in Ophthalmology, adhering to medical care standards.
• Deliver high-quality patient care across all aspects of Ophthalmic Surgery, as defined by approved clinical privileges.
• Admit patients, initiate necessary investigations, and ensure all findings are accurately recorded.
• Assess patients' diseases or conditions to determine appropriate therapeutic modalities and procedures.
• Ensure proper patient preparation for procedures and surgery, performing these as indicated in the signed clinical privilege form.
• Follow up on investigation results for both inpatients and outpatients, modifying treatment plans as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in Ophthalmology, with a focus on pediatric cases.
• Relevant medical qualifications and certifications in Ophthalmology.
• Demonstrated ability to perform ophthalmic surgical procedures.

Work Environment

This is a part-time position based in Makkah, with potential assignments in Jeddah. The role requires adherence to established medical protocols and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
