About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Plumber to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role involves performing various plumbing tasks and general maintenance duties while adhering to safety and company policies. The position requires 2-5 years of related work experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair minor plumbing issues, including unclogging drains.
• Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings.
• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air to detect and locate leaks.
• Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to plan installations.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to the required angle.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures.
• Perform various minor repairs and conduct preventive maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Comply with all safety and company policies and procedures, report any safety hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Receive and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others.
• Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 75 pounds or less without assistance.
• Provide assistance with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing more than 100 pounds.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Climb up and down ladders.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
• Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience. No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• Licenses or Certifications:
  • Stationary Engineer/Boiler Operator License
  • Plumber Certification
