About the Production Operator Role

Multilink Management Consultants is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Operator to join our team. This full-time position is based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with significant hands-on experience in tyre manufacturing processes, particularly in mixing operations.

Role Overview

The Production Operator will be primarily responsible for the operation and monitoring of Banbury/internal mixing machines. This role is critical in ensuring the consistent quality and production of rubber compounds by strictly adhering to approved mixing recipes, machine parameters, and stringent quality and safety requirements within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Banbury/internal mixing machines within a tyre manufacturing setting.
• Follow approved mixing recipes, batch sequences, and specified production parameters.
• Monitor critical mixing parameters including time, temperature, pressure, and rotor speed.
• Ensure the correct weighing, charging, and discharge of raw materials.
• Maintain the consistency and quality of rubber compounds throughout the mixing process.
• Perform routine machine and process checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify any operational abnormalities and coordinate effectively with Quality and Maintenance teams for resolution.
• Maintain accurate production and machine records.
• Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines, 5S standards, and general housekeeping practices.
• Achieve established production targets while consistently maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications and Required Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of practical experience as a Production Technician – Mixing, specifically within the tyre manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in operating Banbury/internal mixing machines.
• A strong understanding of mixing processes, machine parameters, quality control, and safety requirements.
• Specific experience with the following machines is highly preferred:
  • Banbury GK320 – HF / Kobelco
  • Banbury F305 – HF / Kobelco
  • Tangential / Internal Mixer

Work Setting and Location

This is a full-time position located in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role operates within a dynamic manufacturing environment, requiring a commitment to operational excellence and strict adherence to all safety protocols.
