About WSP and the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking an experienced Project Manager Infrastructure to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on leading the delivery of complex infrastructure design and masterplanning projects across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region, with a primary focus on projects within Jeddah and Makkah. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Focus of the Position

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing large-scale urban, transport, and infrastructure developments. This involves managing projects from the initial concept phase through detailed design and final delivery, ensuring successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders. The role demands strong multidisciplinary leadership to navigate complex project requirements and deliver high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams across infrastructure and masterplanning projects.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, and key stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, programme, budget, resources, and risk.
• Coordinate inputs across roads, utilities, water, structures, public realm, and other disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with local standards, codes, and approval requirements.
• Monitor project performance, quality, and commercial outcomes.
• Support bids, proposals, and business development initiatives.
• Mentor team members and contribute to WSP’s project management capability in the region.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in project management, specifically within infrastructure design and masterplanning. Demonstrated strong multidisciplinary leadership experience is essential for managing large-scale urban, transport, and infrastructure developments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing projects from concept through detailed design and delivery.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, within the Makkah region. The role involves working with a diverse team on projects spanning Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East, offering exposure to significant regional developments.
