Halwani Brothers is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join their team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves skilled mechanical maintenance duties focused on refrigeration systems and related equipment.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to perform skilled mechanical maintenance, including the inspection, repair, installation, and alteration of refrigeration systems and associated equipment. The technician will also be responsible for executing preventive maintenance and routine servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, modify, and install HVAC equipment, including refrigeration and air conditioning compressors, condensers, chillers, water cooling towers, pumps, and various valves.
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections on refrigeration units, isolated heating and ventilating units, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Service and repair evaporative coolers.
• Repair or replace defective parts in units and equipment, including thermostats, automatic switches, fan controls, relays, filters, belts, compressors, and safety valves.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, and test equipment; maintain equipment in effective and safe working condition.
• Maintain parts and tool inventory.
• Repair and rebuild semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors and compressors for centrifugal refrigeration machines.
• Perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation, and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, and wiring systems; connect motors to control panels.
• Lubricate and pack heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and air-conditioning motors, pumps, fans, and other equipment.
• Install and calibrate systems; install copper tubing and repair pipes and tubing as necessary; test joints and insulate pipes of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Install, rebuild, replace or repair fans, motors, thermostats, fuses, filters, bearings, valves, controls, and gaskets, as necessary.
• Maintain related records concerning time, labor, and materials; maintain a log of tasks performed and write reports as required.
• Follow up daily Maintenance Requests (MR’s) and Work Orders (WO’s) through the ERP system to ensure smooth operation.
• Assist with commissioning new equipment and projects.
• Order and maintain an appropriate stock of spare parts.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires hands-on involvement in mechanical and electrical maintenance within a dynamic operational setting.
