About the Role

Vanderlande is seeking a Regional HR Partner Lead for the Middle East. This full-time role is based in Makkah, with cities including Jeddah and Makkah. The successful candidate will lead the regional HR Partner organization and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, focusing on organizational effectiveness and employee engagement across the region. This position requires over 10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional HR Partner organization across the Middle East.
  • Advise business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, engagement, and succession planning to support business growth.
  • Ensure effective execution of HR processes, policies, and programs, including integration initiatives such as the Vanderlande Logistics integration.
  • Drive local implementation of Vanderlande’s people strategy and global/regional HR initiatives across the region.
  • Lead organizational development and change management initiatives.
  • Ensure effective execution of talent, performance, rewards, mobility, engagement, DEI, health & wellbeing, and learning & development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor legislation, regional employment practices, and company policies.
  • Manage complex employee relations and people-related matters.
  • Analyze workforce trends and metrics, providing people insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with regional HR teams, Global HRBPs, and HR Functions.

Team and Reporting Structure

This role is part of the Global HR organization and reports to the global Head of Regional HR Global Services. The Regional HR Partner Lead will manage HR Partners across the Middle East and work closely with regional leadership teams and global HR stakeholders to support sustainable business growth.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential:
  • Significant HR leadership experience within an international environment.
  • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders within a complex international organization.
  • Strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience working within Middle Eastern markets with proven knowledge of labor legislation and employment practices in the Middle East.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across different cultures and organizational levels.
  • Effective communication across cultures and organizational levels.
  • Preferred:
  • Experience supporting large-scale business growth and transformation within multinational organizations.
  • Experience within technology, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Travel Requirements

Travel is estimated to be 20-40% of the time, depending on business needs and regional priorities.
