About the Reservations Agent Role

Jumeirah is seeking a Reservations Agent to join the team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position within the Reservations Department, suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Role Overview

The Reservations Agent plays a crucial role in managing guest bookings and inquiries, ensuring efficient and professional handling of all reservation-related communications. This position is integral to maintaining high standards of guest service and operational efficiency within the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to professional email inquiries within 24 hours, prioritizing correspondence related to current or upcoming month bookings.
• Answer incoming calls within three rings, adhering to established 59 Club and LQA service standards.
• Collect all necessary guest details during the booking process, including recognizing repeat guests, contact information, passport copies, flight details, special occasions, and preferences. Ensure all information is accurately updated in the Opera system.
• Maintain professional and appropriate email and telephone etiquette at all times.
• Thoroughly review all reservation correspondence for special instructions and requests, ensuring this information is communicated to the respective departments.
• Communicate any last-minute changes, such as new bookings, cancellations, or additional information, to the relevant operational departments promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a reservations or customer service role, preferably within the hospitality industry.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle guest inquiries in a clear, courteous, and professional manner.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Competency in using MS Office applications.

Compensation

An attractive salary, denominated in SAR, will be offered for this full-time position.
