We serve renowned airports and airlines worldwide. We are currently seeking a Site Engineer Steel Structure to join our Project Execution team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

Position Summary

The Site Engineer Steel Structure will provide essential support to the Site Manager regarding mechanical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment across various projects in the region. This full-time role involves guiding sub-contractors, coordinating with internal departments, and supervising steel works to ensure project execution aligns with approved standards and practices within the industrial automation domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in mechanical installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities for project equipment.
• Guide and educate sub-contractors on installation best practices.
• Coordinate with the construction and procurement departments to identify required tools and consumables for site execution.
• Support and supervise the installation of steel works for projects.
• Prepare work packages for site installation teams.
• Support the proposals department with input for upcoming projects and share previously learned lessons.
• Monitor and report on site progress.
• Assist the quality team with inspections, closing out snag points, and facilitating eventual handover to the client.
• Identify potential risks for failures and implement preventive actions with the Engineering and Drafting teams to prevent defects in engineering deliverables.
• Implement and monitor all mechanical-related works at the site as per approved drawings and methods.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health, safety, security, environment, and quality practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in steel structure practices within the Industrial automation domain.
• Specific experience in Baggage Handling or Material Handling Systems is required.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong knowledge of engineering analysis tools, mechanical design, and installation practices.
• Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multiple cultural teams.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a willingness to work on projects across various locations within KSA as needed. Salary for this position will be discussed during the interview process.
