Sourcing and Subcontracting Manager

About the Role

SSCL is seeking a Sourcing and Subcontracting Manager to lead sourcing and subcontracting within its Supply Chain function. This full-time, mid-to-senior management position is based in Makkah, specifically covering projects in Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves managing a team of buyers/contract officers and reports directly to the Supply Chain Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and subcontracting activities within the Supply Chain function.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, prequalification, negotiation, and contract administration for FM/O&M projects.
• Manage and guide a team of buyers and contract officers.
• Report directly to the Supply Chain Director on all sourcing and subcontracting matters.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess substantial experience in sourcing and subcontracting within a supply chain context. The position requires a professional with a proven track record in managing complex projects and leading teams.

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in sourcing, subcontracting, or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractor relationships and contract lifecycles.
• Experience in FM/O&M projects is preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities extending to projects in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role operates within a dynamic supply chain environment, requiring strong leadership and collaboration skills.
