About the Technical Leader Role

Abdul Latif Jameel is seeking a Technical Leader to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the quality and accuracy of vehicle repairs. The Technical Leader is responsible for diagnosing vehicle symptoms, determining necessary repairs, and performing final inspections to ensure customer satisfaction and that repairs are completed correctly the first time.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Leader's responsibilities include:

• Confirming symptoms and repair requests with customers based on job order forms.
• Conducting thorough diagnostics to identify the root cause of vehicle symptoms, determine necessary repairs, and specify parts to be replaced.
• Completing job order forms with detailed diagnostic findings, repair plans, and required parts.
• Confirming the availability of necessary repair parts with the Parts Advisor.
• Explaining the scope of work and estimated completion time to customers, ensuring their understanding.
• Halting repair work if the cause of a symptom cannot be identified and seeking support from the TMC Regional office.
• Placing identification markers on vehicles to guide appointed technicians on specific repair or maintenance actions.
• Identifying and assigning the appropriate technician for repairs by consulting the Technician skill board.
• Performing final inspections on completed repairs to ensure quality, correctness, and customer satisfaction.
• Verifying with the customer that the repair request has been fully resolved.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Technical Leader position should meet the following minimum requirements:

• Education: Vocational/Technical school graduate or equivalent.
• Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in the automotive sector.
• Skills: Computer literate.
