About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Waiter F&B Service Expert to join our team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is exclusively open to Saudi Nationals. The primary objective of this role is to deliver exceptional food and beverage service, ensuring every guest interaction contributes to a memorable and unique experience.

Role Responsibilities

The Waiter F&B Service Expert is responsible for a range of services designed to ensure guests enjoy their meals and that all transactions are integrated seamlessly into the overall experience. Key duties include:

• Setting tables according to established standards.
• Communicating effectively and efficiently with kitchen staff.
• Interacting with and serving guests in a professional manner.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
• Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
• Upholding high quality standards in all aspects of service.
• Ensuring professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication at all times.
• Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Physical Demands

This role requires physical activity, including standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. The individual will navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Tasks involve managing menus, which includes reading and visually verifying information. A hands-on approach is essential, requiring the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. The position also involves reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
