About the Role

Acwa China is seeking an experienced Full-time Electrical Technician to join our team in Neom. This role is critical for ensuring the operational integrity and efficiency of plant electrical equipment through diligent maintenance and adherence to safety standards. We are looking for a candidate with 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Objectives

The primary objective of this position is to execute preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance activities. This includes supporting annual outages and overhauls to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical equipment within the plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance activities in accordance with established procedures and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical equipment used in power and industrial plant operations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and protection schematics accurately.
• Install, inspect, service, adjust, and repair static and rotating electrical equipment.
• Coordinate equipment isolation and maintenance activities effectively with the Electrical Supervisor and Operations team.
• Report spare parts and consumable requirements to ensure continuous support for maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and comprehensive equipment history.
• Prepare work areas and equipment thoroughly before commencing maintenance activities.
• Support plant shutdowns, annual outages, and overhauling activities as required.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards (5S) within the designated work area.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably within power or industrial plant operations.
• Demonstrated ability to perform various maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and condition-based tasks.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a range of electrical equipment.
• Strong capability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and protection schematics.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety, environmental, and quality standards in all work.

Working Conditions

This is a plant-based role located in Neom, requiring willingness to work in a remote location. The position may involve working outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and around industrial equipment, with strict adherence to all safety procedures.
