The Role: Apprentice CAD Engineer (Saudi National)

Konecranes is seeking an Apprentice CAD Engineer to join its team in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite position is specifically for Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on creating detailed technical drawings and collaborating on design projects to support the company's material handling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed 2D drawings using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, to meet project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with project goals.
  • Generate technical drawings and schematics for manufacturing, construction, and product development.
  • Review and verify designs for accuracy, identifying and correcting errors while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Modify and update existing designs based on client feedback or evolving project requirements.
  • Participate in design reviews, offering recommendations to improve efficiency, functionality, and overall design quality.
  • Organize and maintain design files, ensuring accessibility and proper version control for future reference.
  • Document design changes, maintain version histories, and track project progress for effective collaboration.
  • Work closely with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during fabrication or assembly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD, for 2D drawing creation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and project teams.
  • Strong attention to detail for design accuracy and compliance.
  • Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting design-related issues.
  • This role is designated for Saudi Nationals.

Work Location and Schedule

This is a full-time, fully onsite position located in Jubail Industrial City, Saudi Arabia. The role requires attendance 5 days per week.
