About the Corporate Communications Officer Role

UNESCO | RCQE is seeking a Corporate Communications Officer to join its team in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for the strategic planning, development, and implementation of corporate communication initiatives that align with RCQE’s mission and objectives.

Role Purpose and Context

The Corporate Communications Officer plays a central role in shaping and disseminating the organization's message. This position ensures consistent and effective communication across all channels, supporting RCQE's visibility and engagement with stakeholders. The role involves both strategic planning and hands-on execution of communication activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting and distributing press releases to relevant media outlets.
• Preparing comprehensive communication materials for various platforms.
• Managing both internal and external communication channels to ensure broad reach and impact.
• Coordinating closely with leadership and program teams to maintain consistent messaging.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with media contacts and key stakeholders.
• Supporting the organization’s visibility and representation at events and campaigns.
• Monitoring and evaluating communication outcomes to assess effectiveness.
• Preparing detailed reports on communication activities and their results.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement and evolution of RCQE’s communication practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a strong background in corporate communications. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role is required, demonstrating proficiency in developing and executing communication strategies.

Work Setting

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jubail, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be expected to work from the RCQE offices in Al Jubail.
